ANCOR Central Asia has been established in order to render qualified personnel management services on the territory of Kazakhstan to the leading international and national companies working in all spheres of the economy — banking, telecom, oil and gas sectors as well as pharmaceutical industry, sales and consumer goods marketing, business services and other industries. Office in Almaty will provide personnel selection services and staffing for long-term and short-term projects. It will also prepare salary reviews for the whole Central Asian region with a special focus on Almaty, Kazakhstan's capital Astana and the country's largest oil and gas center Atyrau. Konstantin Borisov, who earlier served as the general director of ANCOR Energy Services — the holding's subsidiary company, which specializes in complex services for the companies and operators of oil and gas sector — has been appointed the general director of ANCOR Central Asia. In his new position Konstantin will work to develop the joint enterprise, promote the company's services and develop a regional network in Kazakhstan. «Unique experience and competence of ANCOR personnel holding, which is a leader of CIS market for personnel selection and staffing services, will help the new company — ANCOR Central Asia — to occupy a leading position on the personnel services market of Central Asian region in the shortest time possible,» Konstantin Borisov says. The future plans of ANCOR Central Asia also include development of a regional network in Kazakhstan and establishment of permanent offices in Astana and Atyrau. Within the framework of holding's overall strategy of CIS expansion, by 2008 the total number of ANCOR's offices has to grow from current 36 to 44.
